Arara Art Steals the Spotlight at Gramedia Goes to Campus UC 2025 with High-Aesthetic Handicraft Works

October 28, 2025 — The second day of Gramedia Goes to Campus UC 2025 was once again enlivened by a lineup of creative MSMEs filling the Corepreneur area of Ciputra University. Among more than 50 booths ranging from student businesses, campus organizations, to local entrepreneurs, one that captured significant attention was Arara Art, a handicraft brand known for its modern ethnic concept and premium handmade quality.

Arara Art showcased its signature collections, including beaded brooches, ethnic accessories, as well as artworks crafted from shells and coconut shells. The striking colors, intricate details, and distinctive design character made the Arara Art booth one of the most visited spots at Gramedia Goes to Campus.

Bringing Stories Behind Every Piece

In an interview with UKM Balawarta, a representative from Arara Art shared that every piece begins with inspiration drawn from the available materials ranging from shell waste, glass beads, copper wire, to items often perceived as having no value. Through their creative hands, these materials are transformed into elegant, unique accessories with their own visual narrative.

“Every piece must have a soul,” they said. “We don’t just make accessories, we bring stories, aesthetic value, and a fully handcrafted process that we guard from start to finish.”

With a strong commitment to quality, Arara Art rejects mass production. Every product is crafted manually, one by one, making each piece not only functional but also artistically meaningful.

Inspiring UC’s Young Entrepreneurs

Arara Art’s presence at Gramedia Goes to Campus offered new insight to Ciputra University students on how a business can grow from simple creativity and evolve into high-value products.

Several students visiting the booth expressed that they were inspired by Arara Art’s approach in combining art, visual sensibility, and perseverance. “It turns out that creative business isn’t just about selling products it’s about how we interpret the process,” said one student.

A Collaboration of Art and Entrepreneurship

Amid the series of performances by UKM Theater, Resonance, and Task Force Sakura, the Arara Art booth served as a reminder that art doesn’t only appear on stage it also lives in small objects crafted with heart.

This year’s Gramedia Goes to Campus emphasizes that human creativity holds a depth that technology can never replace. Arara Art stands as a testament that handcrafted art still holds a strong place in the modern entrepreneurial world.

Aligning with the event’s theme, Gramedia and Ciputra University affirm that strong business spirit is born from creativity, emotion, and sincerity values that have long been the foundation of every Arara Art creation.
