Surabaya, November 4, 2025 — The Dharma Wanita Persatuan of the East Java Provincial Secretariat once again held a women’s empowerment activity through creative skills training. This time, Dharma Wanita collaborated with Arara Art, a local brand known for its exclusive handmade creations, to organize a Beaded Brooch-Making Workshop.
Held at the Bhinaloka Building of the East Java Provincial Secretariat, the event was attended by dozens of participants from various work units. The participants showed great enthusiasm throughout each session, from learning about different types of beads and tools, mastering basic beading techniques, to practicing how to assemble brooches with elegant and modern designs.

This workshop aimed not only to provide a new experience in the art of bead crafting, but also to open opportunities for members to develop skills with economic value.

As the workshop facilitator, Arara Art presented a clear, step-by-step teaching method that was easy to follow even for first-time learners. Every participant had the chance to practice hands-on and received full guidance throughout the brooch-making process.
The resulting works were diverse, ranging from floral designs to artistic ornaments blending vibrant and elegant colors.

At the end of the event, each participant brought home their handcrafted brooch as a keepsake proof that anyone can produce beautiful creations with the right techniques.
